Malaspina Castle overlooks Bosa from the top of the hill; it was built in 1112 by the Genoese Malaspina family. Inside the castle stands the small Church of Our Lady of the High Kingdoms, which houses Catalan-Sardinian frescoes from the 14th\u201315th centuries that are among the rarest and most precious in Sardinia \u2014 a hidden treasure within a medieval fortress.<\/p>\n
