We go there with the children when we want some peace and quiet.\n<\/div>\n<h2 id=\"temo\">\ud83c\udf0a The River Temo: Sardinia\u2019s Only Navigable River<\/h2>\n<p>The Temo is Sardinia\u2019s only navigable river \u2014 a geographical distinction that few are aware of. It rises from Lake Temo (another stunning artificial reservoir) and flows down to Bosa, where it empties into the Tyrrhenian Sea, passing through the historic heart of the city. The stretch from Bosa inland is navigable by canoe and kayak for several kilometres.<\/p>\n<p>Bosa on the Temo is one of Sardinia\u2019s most beautiful towns \u2014 with its colourful houses, the medieval Malaspina Castle and the historic hamlet of Sa Costa.
