AffittaSardegna was established in 2011 in Florence.
At that moment our life was there.
Edoardo had grown up in Sardinia until he graduated, then moved to Florence to study. He graduated, started working, built his career path.
I am Souad, Moroccan. We met in Florence, worked, bought a house, built stability.
We had security. We had security. We had a road already mapped out. But Sardinia was never really far away.
AffittaSardegna was born around a table in the living room at home. In the beginning, we managed the bookings of a few houses of family and friends in North Sardinia. We followed everything personally: requests, organisation of stays, communication with guests.
It was a parallel project to our life in the city. But season after season, that project grew. And along with it grew an awareness: we did not want to tell the story of Sardinia from afar. We wanted to live it.
With the birth of our first child, that question became concrete. What kind of life did we want to build for our family?
We decided to leave Florence, the fixed place, the certainties built up over the years. We returned to Sardinia.
We chose Porto Torres as our base because here there were roots, family and the possibility of building something lasting.
It was not a romantic move. It was an entrepreneurial and family project at the same time.
We wanted to live North Sardinia all year round, to really understand the area, to create direct relationships with owners and guests. Since then, AffittaSardegna has become a reality rooted in the territory.
It has not been a linear path. We have gone through regulatory changes, developments in the short-term rental market, three economic crises and the total freeze of 2020.
We have always chosen to work in accordance with the law, with transparency and a long-term vision.

Today AffittaSardegna manages over 300 properties in North Sardinia, with a presence in Stintino, Alghero, Castelsardo, Badesi, Costa Paradiso, Santa Teresa Gallura, Palau, Porto Rotondo, San Teodoro, Orosei and Cala Gonone. Our operational office is located in Porto Torres. Here we live. Here we work. Here we coordinate our team.
The two of us started out with a computer and a lot of determination.
Today we have a street-level office in Porto Torres, a team of five permanent staff all year round, seasonal employees in the high season months and external companies working with us to ensure quality, maintenance and professional services.
We are not a distant platform. We are a family that has chosen to build an organised, professional and locally rooted management model in Northern Sardinia.
AffittaSardegna has grown, but remains what it has always been: a life choice, a project built with responsibility, a reality that looks to the future without forgetting where it started.
