Baja Sardinia is a seaside resort on the northern edge of the Costa Smeralda, in the municipality of Arzachena, in the Gallura region. It shares the same spectacular coastline as nearby Porto Cervo — emerald water, pink granite, fragrant scrub — but with a more relaxed, welcoming feel and a lively pedestrian center built around a panoramic square.
It's a favorite with families and with travelers who want the beauty of the Costa Smeralda without its most exclusive atmospherewithout its most exclusive atmosphere. The beaches are easy to reach and gently shelving, the center is full of restaurants and bars, and the La Maddalena archipelago is just a short drive away.
