Budoni is a town of around 5,000 inhabitants on the eastern coast of Sardinia, between San Teodoro (15 km to the north) and Siniscola (25 km to the south). A town that has seen a boom in tourism over the last twenty years thanks to a long sandy coastline dotted with several seaside hamlets: Berruiles, S’Iscala, Agrustos, Tanaunella.
It has become one of the favourite destinations for Italian and European families for two reasons: the crystal-clear sea with a gently shelving seabed (same quality as San Teodoro), and the’quiet atmosphere without the intense nightlife that characterises nearby San Teodoro. Prices on average more affordable.

From Budoni, you can easily reach Porto San Paolo (20 km) and set off for the Tavolara Marine Protected Area, one of the richest in the Mediterranean. The tour includes snorkelling, lunch on board and views of Mount Tavolara. Price: €60–90 per person.
The iconic beaches of San Teodoro are located 15–20 km from the Budoni area: La Cinta (5 km of white sand) and Cala Brandinchi (the “Sardinian Tahiti”, with limited access). Half-day or full-day trip.
The hinterland of Budoni features Monte Nieddu — trails through holm oak woods, views of the coast, and natural springs. Season: October–May.
