📍 Cos’è Santa Teresa di Gallura

Santa Teresa di Gallura is the northernmost point of Sardinia.

Il borgo ha un’hybrid identityBeaches🏖️ Rena Bianca, one of the most photographed in Sardinia). And then Cape Head, the granite headland shaped by the wind, designated a Natural Monument of the Italian State.

We at AffittaSardegna have selected 4 apartments in Santa Teresa since 2011. A targeted choice, all designed for couples and small families (capacità 4 ospiti), tutti a distanza di passeggio dal centro e dal porto.

🏖️ The Beaches of the Northern Tip

🏖️ Rena Bianca

A 200m dal centro. La spiaggia urbana, sabbia bianchissima fine come zucchero, fondale degradante, attrezzata. Tramonti memorabili con la Corsica all’orizzonte.

🪨 Spiaggia di Capo Testa

4 km to the west. Pale sand set amid granite rocks shaped by the wind. The shape of the landscape makes every corner different.

🐠 Cala Spinosa

5 km to the west. A wild little cove reached on foot via a path, spectacular snorkelling. Often deserted even in high season.

🏔️ La Marmorata

8 km to the east. A beach with fragments of white marble that give the place its name. A unique setting, excellent for photographs.

💎 Conca Verde

7 km to the east. Twin coves, emerald-coloured water, very shallow seabeds suitable for children. A pine wood behind.

🏄 Porto Pollo

15 km to the east. A paradise for windsurfing and kitesurfing, with a constant mistral wind. One of the best spots in the Mediterranean for sailing sports.

🪨 Capo Testa: Natural Monument

Capo Testa is one of the most striking places in Sardinia. A Natural Monument of the Italian State, 12 km² of granite carved by the wind into shapes unique in the world.

  • Faro di Capo Testa — built in 1845, still active, with a view over the Strait of Bonifacio
  • Roman quarries — here the Romans extracted the columns for the Pantheon in Rome. An archaeological site that can be visited free of charge
  • Moon Valley — a lunar landscape of granite shaped by the wind, frequented by walkers and photographers
  • Torre di Longonsardo — a 16th-century Spanish tower in the centre of Santa Teresa
  • Historic centre — pedestrian alleys, characterful squares, Gallura seafood cuisine

🇫🇷 Un Giorno in Corsica — l’Esperienza Top di Santa Teresa

L’esperienza più memorabile per chi soggiorna a Santa Teresa è la day crossing to Bonifacio. Moby Lines ferry, 50 minutes of sailing across the Strait, and you are in France.

In Bonifacio: the upper town perched on white cliffs, a marina, Corsican cuisine, a completely different language and culture despite being just 11 km away. You set off in the morning at 8 or 10, and return in the evening with the sunset over the strait.
