Malaspina Castle overlooks Bosa from the top of the hill; it was built in 1112 by the Genoese Malaspina family. Inside the castle stands the small Church of Our Lady of the High Kingdoms, which houses Catalan-Sardinian frescoes from the 14th–15th centuries that are among the rarest and most precious in Sardinia — a hidden treasure within a medieval fortress.

An 11th-century medieval fortress offering panoramic views of Bosa and the Temo. The church inside, dedicated to Our Lady of the High Kingdoms, contains 14th- and 15th-century frescoes. A 20-minute walk uphill from the town centre — well worth the effort.
A branch of the Nuoro Provincial Art Museum — dedicated to modern Sardinian art, with a focus on the Bosano area. It also hosts temporary exhibitions. Small but well-curated, right in the town centre.
The medieval quarter of Sa Costa is the picturesque heart of Bosa — narrow streets, colourful houses, flowers on the balconies. A charming labyrinth best explored on foot, at a leisurely pace, as you lose yourself amidst the colours.
The Temo riverfront is one of the most picturesque in Sardinia — fishing boats, colourful houses reflected in the water, ancient bridges. Beautiful at any time of day, it is truly sublime at sunset, when the light sets the facades ablaze.
